Terms of participation

Contests and prize draws

By entering the contest, you expressly agree to having your personal details and possibly any user-generated content (images and text) saved and used for the purpose of the contest mechanism, and to be notified of the contest result.

Additionally, you accept the following terms of participation and you confirm that you have read and understood the privacy policy of www.miavita.ch. In particular, you are aware of your right to revoke your consent for the use of your data.

Contest organiser and period

This contest is organised by: Miavita GmbH, Frohburgstrasse 17, 4600 Olten.
Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok and Google are not associated with the contest and are not available as a point of contact with regards to the contest.
The contest period is communicated on the contest page: 1.9.2024 until 31.5.2025 - 23:59 CET.

Eligibility

Natural persons, aged 18 years and older, legal residents.

Contest mechanism

To enter the competition, follow the instructions on the competition announcement page.
By participating, the conditions of participation and the data protection guidelines are automatically accepted.
The conditions for winning can be found on the competition announcement page. As a rule, a random draw will be made from all entries received by the closing date mentioned above.
Automatically generated entries and participants who carry out technical manipulations will be excluded from the competition. Legal action will also be taken.
The competition organiser and/or the companies involved in the implementation of the competition reserve the right to check the accuracy of the participants' data at any time when awarding prizes.
Participation in the competition is free and does not entail any obligation to purchase.

Prizes

Non-cash prizes cannot be paid out in cash and cannot be exchanged.
It is possible to refuse a prize after which a new winner will be drawn.
The competition organiser accepts no liability for incorrect information provided by participants or technical errors in connection with the prize decision.
The winner assumes responsibility for accepting the prize and bears all consequences of this acceptance, including any costs incurred in connection with winning a prize.
If the prize cannot be delivered to the winners within one week of notification by e-mail, the prize will be forfeited without substitution.
After entering the contact details, the participant will not be automatically informed that the data has been received. The participant is expressly informed that the prize will only be awarded after verification and confirmation of legitimate participation in accordance with the conditions of participation.
One or more competition prizes will be drawn as shown on the competition announcement page.

Storage and use of the data

By submitting the completed contest entry form, participants agree that the personal data provided (including their name, phone number, address, e-mail address and any uploaded images and texts) may be processed and used by the competition organiser and companies involved in the competition for the purpose of running the competition.
The personal data will be stored and processed in compliance with the applicable law, in particular the Data Protection Act, see www.miavita.ch/en-ch/privacy for more information.
The declared consent can be revoked at any time by sending a short message to the e-mail address dpo@miavita.ch.
The competition organiser Miavita GmbH and any subsequent companies are entitled to process and use the data in the contest announcement page.

Liability

The competition organiser reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify or cancel the competition or parts thereof without prior notice. It cannot be held liable for this and no compensation can be demanded from it.
The competition organiser cannot be held liable if participants are unable to access the competition and/or participate in the competition due to technical or other problems, in particular due to network congestion.
The competition organiser and the companies involved in the implementation of the competition draw participants' attention to the special features and limitations of the Internet and disclaim any liability for consequences incurred by participants as a result of connecting to the Internet via partner websites.

Closing provisions

The competition organiser expressly reserves the right to amend these conditions of participation at any time. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. Legal recourse is excluded. Swiss law applies exclusively.
