Terms of participation

Who can take part?

Anyone aged 18 or over who is resident in Switzerland can take part in the referral programme - regardless of whether they are existing customers or interested parties. Registration is free and non-binding.

Important: The recommendation is only valid if the recommended person registers via your personal referral link and a valid contract has been concluded with an insurance company via miavita GmbH. KVG (basic health insurance) contracts are excluded.

CHF 50 reward for you and your invitee

As soon as a recommended person has successfully taken out a new supplementary health insurance policy with miavita via your link, you will each receive a one-time reward of CHF 50 at the start of the contract. You can refer as many friends as you like.

Payment will be made within 30 days of the successful start of the contract and verification.

‍The person making the recommendation can make a maximum of 20 recommendations per year. Any tax and social security contributions and reports are the responsibility of the person making the referral.

Promotion period

The referral programme is valid from 1.1.2026 to 31.12.2026.

Only recommendations that are received within this period and lead to a valid conclusion will be considered.

Exclusions

A premium cannot be granted in the following cases:
- The contract concluded is a KVG (basic health insurance).
- The recommended person is a cohabitant or belongs to the same household (e.g. children, parents, partner).
- Self-referrals or double registrations.
- Recommendations for unborn children or newborns by parents.
- Referrals by miavita employees, miavita business partners, intermediaries or brokers.
- The referred person has already taken part in another miavita promotion.
- The referred person has not registered via the referral link.
- Cross-border commuters or persons residing outside Switzerland.

How it works

The referral programme and the payment of rewards are supported with using tools from our partners Viral Loops and Tremendous.

After registering on miavita.ch, you will receive a personal referral link that you can use to recommend miavita. Only if a recommended person registers via this link can we clearly assign the recommendation and pay out a reward.

No data of your friends will be processed without their active registration or consent.

The bonus is paid out exclusively via the options currently available on the Tremendous platform. After successful verification of the contract conclusion, you will receive an individual payout link by e-mail. There you can redeem the reward as you wish - e.g. as a virtual Visa card, via PayPal, Apple CHF, or as a voucher from providers such as IKEA, Decathlon, Just Eat CH, LEGO, MediaMarkt CH, MANGO CH, Uber CH, Uber Eats CH or Zalando CH.

miavita reserves the right to adjust or terminate the programme at any time or to exclude participants in the event of suspected abuse. In the event of a breach of these conditions of participation, miavita accepts no liability for any direct or indirect damage that may result. Legal recourse is excluded. There is no entitlement to a prize if the conditions are not met.
